Madonna Star Theory

'Stars' end up losing who they are and become the archetypal ‘Star’- the term star refers to a semi-mythological set of meanings constructed around music performers in order to sell.
Madonna has been given the honorific nickname of 'The Queen of Pop'.

-Good looking – stands out (distinctive) - Yes good looking and always updating her style, applying directly to the theory.

-Sexual magnetism - Some may say, sexual magnetism.
-anti-authoritarian (don’t care) - Not really.

A star is an image, not a real person, that is constructed (as any other aspect of fiction is) out of a range of materials (eg advertising, magazines etc as well as films [music])

Stars are commodities produced and consumed on the strength of their meanings.
